The Life and Times of 'James P. Erickson'

Before turning in for the night I decided to go out for a little drive this evening. High above we had heat lightning here in Orlando, truly a beautiful sight. As I made my way down Moss Park Rd I thought about how eventful this weekend has been. Aarons Birthday, Movie Night, Multiple games of Settlers, Cru Doctrine till 5am, Haircut, Swim, Volleyball, Phone Calls, and Solo Dance Party. Dont think a solo dance party is a lonely thing…I merely turn up the music as loud as it goes at work and dance around while no one is here. Please come join me sone time.

It dawned on me today about how unique my situation with cru is this year. I work in a very large office surrounded by many different people, of many different ages, and of many different culture backgrounds…but do you know what? We all share one fundamental belief. Christ Jesus is Lord and Savior. I’m not referring just to one of my co-workers, or to my boss, or maybe a few interns. EVERY SINGLE PERSON FOLLOWS CHRIST. Wow.

Well the foods getting cold, so I better head inside. If anyone reading this blog would like to recieve my monthly prayer letter just leave a comment. And just in case anyone was wondering my beard is growing in nicely…although it could use a little trim.

God bless and I pray to God tonight for peace on the families of the 9/11 attack. It’s unreal to think that happened 10 years ago today.
